What's coming up for 70s Pop.
Below is the planned list of the two 70s Pop releases and the two "Bonus Packs" that slot in between them.
Each major release is made up of 256 "mints". While the smaller ones contain 64 "mints". The money from primary sales of the smaller "bonus" project will be going to a different charity or non-profit each time.
Giving us a total of 640 mints for the whole project, after which there will be no more releases.
70s Pop Ghost
July 11th*: 64 mints @ TBCΞ
Features: Do you know anyone who enjoys colouring in? Keep them busy with these repeating patterns.
* The dates may change if a curated drop falls on the following Monday or Tuesday.
* The amount of 256 may change if gas and ETH are really weird.
The aim is to keep the total value of Series One and Two at around $65k/£45k, so I'll take that value and divide it between the 256 mints. Unless the ETH and gas situation forces changes, such as having half as many mints for slightly more to balance the gas price. At the moment it's all a bit 🔮🤷.
Features and retired features
Some features are common through all the major projects; the number of tiles, number of lines & line boost, format and reversed. All major projects will also have black lines as the base line colour.
The probability for format and reversed to be true will be the same or (probably) less, but never greater than a previous series.
Line boost will be limited to the range of -2 to +2 in the minor "bonus pack" rather than the usual -3 to +3.
No pattern or decoration will be repeated between series, but new ones may be introduced, with rarity on par with the previous series. Your zag will remain the only one!
Other features will be retired, and new ones that I couldn't fit into just one drop of 256 mints will be added.
Colour palettes will be all-new, in as much as colours can be different, and the overall theme of the palettes will be different. No two colours will be identical.
Charity "Bonus Pack" don't have features (generally), but they have radically different colour schemes, which aren't seen in the major series.
At the time, the total sales from Series One came to around £48k/$66k, and I would like to keep Series Two around the same, so they will be priced in ETH closer to the time.
The "Bonus Packs" will be sold for half the value of the previous major release. Series One was 0.128Ξ, and the Bonus Pack was 0.064Ξ. I'm going to try and stick to that unless ETH goes wild between the two.
